The plumbing in a renovation is hidden by the time anyone admires the result, which is exactly why it has to be right. Moving a toilet a metre, adding a second sink or converting a tub to a walk-in shower each changes the drain and vent layout, and a layout that is slightly wrong will gurgle, smell or drain slowly for years.
What we handle
- Relocating supply and drain lines for new layouts.
- Shower valves, drains and curbless shower waterproofing coordination.
- Kitchen islands with sinks or dishwashers.
- Repiping older homes with poly-B, galvanized steel or failing copper.
Working with your renovation
We coordinate with your contractor or tile setter so the rough-in is inspected before anything is closed up, and we come back for finish once the surfaces are done.
Questions we get asked
My house has poly-B pipe. Should I replace it?
Poly-B is prone to failure at the fittings as it ages and some insurers are wary of it. If you are opening walls anyway, a renovation is the most economical time to replace it.
Can you move my toilet or shower?
Usually, yes. The drain and vent have to be re-routed to code, so we look at the floor structure and existing stack before confirming.
